16,500 m² roof refurbishment and disposal of hazardous substances without generating noise
At the University of Regensburg we carried a roof refurbishment of 16,500 m². In cooperation with a roofing company we executed the works mentioned below.
The works were carried out under regular business with highest possible care as to the prevention of noise.
- Removal of roof structures up to a height of 24 m
- 16,500 m² roof gravel layer up to 10 cm thick, removal and disposal thereof
- 16,500 m² 3-4 layers bitumen membranes
- 16,500 m² Styrodur insulation 8 cm thick
- 4,000 m² vegetation consisting of bushes with a height up to approx. 5 m
- 1,500 m³ topsoil
- About 50 trees with a diameter up to 30 cm
- 500 m² concrete slabs up to 5 cm thick incl. steel inserts
- Abt. 600 linear metres attic copings made of aluminium with wooden substructure
- Abt. 600 linear metres lightning protection lines
- 120 roof domes 1.50 m x 1.50 m made of plastic material
- Abt. 200 m³ wooden beams
- 300 m² - professional removal of asbestos panels acc. to TRGS 519
- Core drillings DN: 700 mm
- Removal of 120 roof inlet pipes
- Removal of roofing membranes containing coal tar
